MC03-Lesson 8: TEDAIM Activities

🧩 TEDAIM

Learning Outcome

By the end of the lesson, you should be able to apply the TEDAIM Learning Model in practical settings.

📘

Lesson

Think

Identify a recent moment when a plan changed suddenly. How did you respond emotionally, cognitively, and behaviourally?

Explore

Observe three detours or disruptions this week. For each, list one opportunity or insight the detour revealed.

Do

Practise the Flexibility Swap: When a plan shifts, create two alternative paths.

Apply

Use the 72-Hour Resilience Reflection to review a recent setback. Document your learning and next steps.

Integrate

Write a short Adaptive Identity Statement using this structure: “When uncertainty happens, I am the person who…”

Maintain

Schedule a weekly 10-minute flexibility exercise or resilience ritual.

🪞

Reflection Task

In 120–150 words, reflect on a recent change that frustrated you.

What made it difficult to adapt?

How might reframing the disruption as a detour or opportunity shift your response next time?

📘

Practical Task

Choose an organisational or project change from the past 30 days.

In 250–300 words:

  • Describe the change and your initial reaction.
  • Analyse the emotional, cognitive, and behavioural factors influencing your response.
  • Apply at least two tools (Reframe, Flexibility Swap, 72-Hour Reflection, Storm Prep).
  • Describe how your revised response could improve collaboration, outcomes, or your own well-being.

Success Criteria

  • Clear insight into adaptability and resilience concepts
  • Evidence of applied learning
  • Practical behavioural adjustment
  • Connection to workplace realities
🧪

TRY THIS

  1. When a disruption happens today, pause and ask: “What’s the opportunity?”
  2. Try a slight routine shift—take a different route, change your morning order.
  3. Identify one setback this month and extract a single learning from it.
